Cadence
The project starts from a simple premise: opening the kitchen to the living room to give the home a greater sense of space. Within a nondescript building, the flooring emerges as a graphic element that gives character and coherence to the space.
The wood is treated as a graphic composition, its tonal gradations unfolding with a measured rhythm that guides the eye and the body through the home. This continuity establishes an inner cadence, one that defines the spatial order and sets the atmosphere.
The rest of the intervention is resolved with neutral planes that act as a backdrop, allowing furniture and objects to breathe and find their place within a precise and contained composition.
