Contemporary acceleration
Domestic space as a counterpoint to contemporary acceleration.
Rather than maximizing exposure and optimization, the interior is conceived through continuity, material presence and selective opacity, allowing moments of slowness and retreat.
Spatial sequences unfold gradually, favoring transitions over thresholds and ambiguity over definition. Materials are chosen not for their perfection or neutrality, but for their capacity to age. Light is filtered rather than displayed, reinforcing an atmosphere that is introspective rather than declarative.
The apartment is not conceived as a fixed or finalized image, but as an open framework, one that accommodates time, change and imperfect memory. It is a space that accepts transformation, appropriation and wear, where domestic life is understood as an evolving process rather than a completed state.
