Wine, sound, and social energy.
This 90 m² wine bar in Valencia is conceived as a raw space shaped by sound, movement, and collective occupation. The project is organized around a precise spatial gesture: a stainless steel bar inserted between three existing columns, carved to allow two people to work simultaneously within it.
A deliberately raw envelope defines the interior. Exposed plasterboard joints, visible construction details, integrated speakers, and a restrained material palette construct an atmosphere that feels direct and immediate. A suspended lighting element reinforces the centrality of the bar while intensifying the relationship between conversation, music, and social interaction.
The project embraces the unpredictability of collective experience. When people share a space, atmosphere becomes amplified. Sound, proximity, movement, and interaction constantly reshape the perception of the environment, turning experience itself into the main design driver.
